I’ve been making software for over 15 years now, and still I learn new tools and tricks every day. As the lead developer for the Yoast SEO plugin core team, I take care of the technical and social needs for my awesome team members, and I improve the new and existing code as much I can. I like to focus on separating concerns and improving unit test coverage, as this usually cascades into positive effects for all other parts of the software.

WordPress Origin Story

I’d never seen WordPress until last september – or so I thought. Well, silly me – WordPress is absolutely everywhere, and it’s great to be part of the Yoast SEO plugin that’s being used on so many sites across the WWW!
