    I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, which launched my career in the web industry. I spent six years in technical support with a German web hosting company, gaining expertise in troubleshooting CMS platforms, themes, and plugins. My career then led me to Dubai, where I focused on website maintenance and SEO for five years, enhancing my skills in web performance and search engine strategies. Currently, as a support engineer at Yoast, I use my background in troubleshooting and optimization to assist customers and improve their experience with Yoast’s tools. My career reflects a commitment to advancing web technologies and delivering exceptional support.

    Interests

    I have a passion for movies, reading, and cooking, which enrich my life. I also dedicate time to educational outreach in remote Philippine high schools, helping underserved communities. In my leisure, I enjoy beach days, finding peace and rejuvenation by the sea, balancing creativity and community commitment.

    WordPress Origin Story

    My journey with WordPress began in 2007 when I worked as a technical support specialist at IONOS in IT Park, Cebu City, Philippines. This role provided me with hands-on experience and ignited a deep passion for the platform. After relocating to Dubai, I expanded my WordPress expertise across various companies and integrated Yoast SEO into my workflow, enhancing my website optimization skills. Currently, I am focused on giving back through an outreach program targeting remote schools in the Philippines. I aim to teach students about WordPress, web hosting, and SEO, equipping them with crucial digital skills. By sharing these tools and techniques, I hope to inspire and empower the next generation to excel in the digital landscape.
