I’m a software developer, in love with the internet. I’ve been programming since I was 14, never stopped. I’m over 49 but with the energy and enthusiasm to keep learning and keep innovating. I own a small web sites development firm, located in Panama, Central America. We’ve been it doing professionally since 2001 and I don’t see me ever stopping .

WordPress Origin Story

I’ve been in website design and development since 1997. First only using html then moving on to my own CMS using classic ASP. That went on for years until I discovered Mambo (now called Joomla). My life and business went from taking several weeks to develop a single site, to mere days. Then a few years later I heard about WordPress and started using it as a blogging platform, as many other did. But my business made yet another jump when we started using WordPress as our de facto framework to serve customers looking for a more user friendly environment… and it was a delight. Everything was so simple, straightforward for us and our customers. That’s the way is has been since then: user friendly, easy to use, easy to support and with lower costs. We are in love with WordPress. Thanks!
