A freelance digital marketing consultant based in the UK. I have been in the marketing industry for over ten years and had my own businesses for over twenty years.
In my free time I love to read and spend time with my daughter and our horses. I enjoy marketing so much I even play with websites and PPC when I am relaxing!

WordPress Origin Story

I honestly cant remember how many years I have been using WordPress now but it must be at least 10 years! I have been teaching WordPress workshops since 2011 and used it for countless websites both personal, professional and ecommerce in style since then.
Foe me there is no other website creation platform now. I started off designing and managing websites in the 1990s and during the 2000s I was using tools like Dreamweaver and hand coding, but now using WordPress is a luxury of simplicity while actually offering far more functionality.
