WordPress Origin Story

Built my own sites for years but got tired of maintaining the code. Looked for numerous CMS systems out there but didn’t want to invest so much time in redoing all the stuff and getting familiar with a system and its own way of “thinking”.
Tried some WP installs poking around and finally ended up doing our sportsclub website in just 24 hours work!
Now I am altering and tweaking using just free plugins, but I think that spending a few bucks on some of them is absolutely worth it!
