Bio

Hello, I’m Djordje, and I want to share a bit about my journey in the digital world, from the days of pioneering online radio in Serbia to founding and running a successful web hosting company.

Back when the concept of online radio was still foreign to many, I had the privilege of not only experiencing it firsthand but possibly being among the first, if not the first, to introduce it in Serbia. I remember those days fondly, where my passion went beyond just tuning in. I ventured further by offering services to enthusiastic individuals, allowing them to establish their online radio stations.

But my digital curiosity didn’t stop there. As the internet began to flourish, I immersed myself in creating IRC servers and crafting mIRC scripts. It was an exciting time, seeing how these technologies brought people together and facilitated communication in an entirely new way.

With the ever-growing demands of the digital age, I naturally gravitated towards web programming. I honed my skills, especially in PHP, and embarked on a freelancing journey. Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of developing a multitude of websites, each reflecting the unique requirements and visions of my clients.

Recognizing the surge in demand for reliable online platforms, in 2014, I took a significant leap. I founded my company, webhostingsrbija.rs, marking a transformative phase of my professional life. Today, our commitment to quality service and a deep understanding of the digital ecosystem ensures that we remain a trusted choice for hosting services in Serbia.

Looking back, my journey has been nothing short of exhilarating. From the days of online radio to the present, where I’m spearheading a successful web hosting company, I’m grateful for the experiences and look forward to the many digital adventures that lie ahead.

WordPress Origin Story

In the early days of my PHP development, I was captivated by the endless possibilities of the digital realm. But when WordPress entered the scene, it felt like a natural extension of what I already knew. Given its PHP backbone, diving into WordPress was like exploring a familiar city with new neighborhoods.

As I delved deeper, I realized the power of WordPress was not just in its flexibility but in its widespread adoption. This presented an opportunity. With my web hosting company, webhostingsrbija.rs, I saw the potential for a specialized service. We could offer optimized WordPress hosting, capitalizing on the platform’s unique requirements and our deep understanding of its structure.
