Bio/Description

Website Designer since 1995 & WordPress Developer since 2010

WordPress Origin Story

Starting in 1998, I was building admin modules for my client sites using Cold Fusion. They allowed clients to update page copy, collect form data, etc. Each one was custom built for the specific site. Sanitizing the data inputs, validating uploads – all manually written code. Even re-using templates, it was time-consuming.

The first time I saw WordPress, and realized all that work was done for me – and cleaner, better than I could – I was hooked!

And that’s all she wrote.
