Fulltime living with my lady and our dogs. I grew up in Colorado and spend the summers there now. Winters are done south of there. Love to run half marathons and kick back with cold beers. Trying to get more people to use WordPress effectively and happily.

WordPress Origin Story

When I worked for GoDaddy back in 2003 I saw clients having a lot of issues with their web developers. They weren’t able to make simple updates to the site without paying the developer additional money. This seemed ridiculous so I started researching different ways to build and maintain a website. I remember looking at Movable Type but then they changed their licensing and you had to pay. Somehow WordPress came to my attention and the rest is history.
