I used to do good ol’ fashioned HTML and CSS, but I stopped around 2010. For several years I continued to get requests for web design, but hand-coded sites (at the level at which I was doing them) had become impractical, so, regretfully, I would turn those projects down. In 2013, I got tired of not being able to take on those projects (and of missing out on the money), so I said ‘yes’ to a handful of small WP websites, quoted a price, and then I went and figured it out. I’ve been doing WP sites ever since, and I’ve gotten pretty good since then.

Since 2015, I’ve used the Avada framework exclusively. I love Avada, can’t recommend it enough, and will never use another theme.
