I’m a musician in my rock band, Velvet Razor. My day job is PIM, DM, and programmer with a very cheesy SOH. I’m a GenXer with a punk ethos. I’m stubborn, sometimes rebellious, and ornery. I can be a disruptor. I’m a Science and Tech nut. I love sci-fi and Science fantasy. I find a lot of true parallels between fiction in real life. So I’m against the evil empire!

Interests

Guitars, electronics, physics, chemistry, mathematics, programming, recording gear and software. I love art, philosophy, music, reading, writing songs, and poetry. I hate “reality” TV, soaps

WordPress Origin Story

I was a big Mambo and Joomla fan. However, I just got to the point where the platform maintenance, trawling through the plugins and getting anything done on it was eating up too much time against the time needed to produce the content. Switched to WordPress, which was lighter, simpler, quicker and still secure.
