I’m a defunct risk manager. I founded/operated an open source development project called Active Agenda. I’m more of a risk manager than a technologist.

WordPress Origin Story

I am trying to help a NFP create a web application to manage mental health referrals within school districts. The current system is built with WP but involves exporting the data to google sheets where therapists interact with the data created by the school site representatives. The data is then imported back into the WP site. Data maintenance requirements are high and data integrity is low.

I am trying to use WP to create a functional model whereby all stakeholders interact with the referral data directly from the WP front end. My greatest challenge thus far has been filtering the data views using custom user meta fields (i.e. District, School Site, Therapist).
