Bio

I have 20+ years of solid experience in the IT field for major companies (mostly around operations and application management, security and compliance, automation, databases, data collection and analysis). I believe that any technological and scientific improvement should be useful; it should not be driven by greed for money and competition, but by usefulness, reliability, safety, practicality.

I quit my high paying job as a Senior Program Manager at Microsoft in 2015 and since then I have been working on healing myself and my family: we moved on top of a hill in the Italian countryside, in an old farm house that was abandoned for a long time and needed restructuring and love. We have greatly reduced our needs and our energy consumption and made the place functional but also cheap to run, sustainable and environment-friendly.

Since spring 2020 I also work as the Technology/Development manager for UAM.TV : an italian Web TV that wants to contribute to making the world a better place (UAM being an acryonim of “un altro mondo” == “another world”).

WordPress Origin Story

I have been using WP since its granfather, ‘b2’.
