In his spare time, Chris explores green spaces, rivers, mountains and forest. Chris enjoys capturing historic spaces, landmarks, vast landscapes and views, helping promote our outdoor recreational resources, and contributing to their conservation.

Since 2021, Chris has been working closely with the Blue Ridge Bartram Trail Conservancy, to promote and maintain the 110+ mile trail system in North Georgia and Western North Carolina. The conservancy is a 501c3 non-profit that aims to maintain and build hiking trails dedicated to the legacy of William Bartram, an American naturalist who spent time in this region in the late 18th century.
