    Bio

    I’m a web administrator at a nonprofit education company outside Philadelphia. I enjoy helping people and solving problems, which has led me to work in the tech field for my entire career. In my free time I’m a musician, woodturner, and enjoy many other creative hobbies.

    WordPress Origin Story

    I’ve been creating websites since I was taught myself HTML in the mid-90s. I started blogging with WordPress around 2008 after I got my first IT job at a nonprofit. The purpose was to keep track of what I was learning so I could refer back to things I discovered when I needed to remember how to do them in the future. Eventually I realized I could build entire websites with WordPress, both for myself and others. I’ve been doing that in my work and as a freelancer ever since!
