WordPress Origin Story

Started playing with WP about 5 years ago to rebuild my UX events calendar. It was in Movable Type at the time and I needed a better way to accept submissions from event organizers. I still have a lot of duct tape holding my site together but it’s way more efficient than when I started the site 9 years ago.
