Bio

I have a doctorate in Business Administration Marketing. Simultaneously, I am the marketing director of an insurance marketing organization and their webmaster, and software architect. I wear many hats and try to do them all perfectly. I am interested in helping company owners streamline their operation to create efficiencies, and to develop an actionable gameplan they can follow to achieve their goals. Every business I touch experiences an increase in revenue.

WordPress Origin Story

I started out with Apple Basic in the 1980s and moved to Dos and then Windows. I began building simple websites with html and then when I saw WordPress, I was intrigued. Since then I have built hundreds of websites with WordPress and some are worthy of an award because they are so “tricked out” Sites I have built have powered company back offices, ecommerce, and more. Sites like TopLocal.org that are designed as a small business directory and marketing service. I designed my personal portfolio as a marketing and sales training consultant and advocate that others do the same, as an online resume. One of the largest sites I’ve built is completely decked out with everything you could imagine, which serves thousands of insurance agents. Recently, I built one with Divi for a Medicare sales leads distributor and another with full motion video headers for a hemp farming company. My current project involves building embeddable snippet utilities that WordPress and other site operators can use on their sites, free of charge. I love the community here and I also love that everyone is so helpful. It reminds me of the past messsage boards when I programmed with Dos and the early days of Python, C++, Javascript, etc.
