WordPress Origin Story

Designed our original church website years ago which gave me a playground to learn more about it. Having just enough knowledge to be dangerous I took a theme from wordpress.org and customized the heck out of it. Then I realized how much better the site could be and revamped it. I’m pretty proud of it although as I learn more modern HTML, CSS and now just dipping into JavaScript I’m sure I’ll be mortified by the code/styles I used. How great is it that WordPress allows someone to grow and all the while be out there on the web? When I’m not at the keys I’m out digging in the dirt helping my plants grow and I love blogging about that.
