    Bio

    Making WordPress websites since 2008, not a dev, nor a designer but I make websites and then look after them in whatever way is best for the client and visitor. Especially enjoy helping other people use WordPress themselves.

    Speaker at WordCamp Brighton 2016, WordCamp Manchester 2017, MC at WC Brighton 2019, volunteer at WC London 2016, Volunteer Organiser at WC London 2017, Deputy Lead Organiser – WordCamp London 2018, Co-Lead in 2019. Hope to be involved with another WordCamp very soon.

    WordPress Origin Story

    I used to design websites using html and css (that was after tables – eek), then in about 2007 someone showed me WordPress… I was not impressed to start with but I loved that clients could update things themselves. So I kept at it and fell in love in 2008, not looking back since. Now I work with WordPress every day and I help others to do the same. After setting up a blog for a friend she called me her “blogmistress” – and that is how one of my websites was born, along with the way to be useful for lots of people.
