I’m a print media designer, cat lover, Pilates learner, photography enthusiast, travel luster, health nut and God’s child.

WordPress Origin Story

When my partner left the design business, I decided to do a revamp of the entire website. Because the one then was entirely hand-coded by my partner and I’m no web developer.

After hearing so much rave about WordPress, I jumped on the bandwagon. Boy, installing it was easy. However to no fault of WordPress, I faced a lot of issues with my host like backing up the website via the SQL backend way.

I have long moved to another host. Morale of the story: Get a host that loves WordPress. 🙂

Since 2013, I’ve stuck with WordPress and even tried to set up a WooCommerce store, which I didn’t think it would be possible if WordPress hadn’t come along. I only have basic HTML skills and an online store would cost a few thousands. With WordPress, the possibilities have expanded.
