WordPress Origin Story

I started my WordPress journey in 2012 with a small personal blog — just experimenting with themes and plugins for fun. That curiosity quickly turned into freelance work, helping friends and small businesses get online. Over the years, I honed my skills, working on diverse projects and learning the platform.

In 2020, I founded Muchiwala, a digital marketing agency, to take things to the next level. Since then, I’ve developed 30+ websites and managed over 20 ongoing WordPress projects, delivering everything from simple blogs to complex business sites for clients across industries and countries.

What started as a side project has grown into a full-fledged career – and I still love the flexibility, creativity, and community that WordPress offers.
