WordPress Origin Story

In 2011, I kicked off my career as a junior web developer at Pixeleyetech. There, I cut my teeth on WordPress, completing several projects. After a few months, I ventured into freelancing, collaborating with agencies and other freelancers on numerous projects. During this time, I crossed paths with Mr. Jean P Johnson, a renowned HTML template developer for Themeforest. In late 2012, I joined Designova, a Themeforest profile founded by Mr. Jean. Together, we created over 60 premium WordPress themes, selling more than 25,000 licenses. However, in 2015, Envato’s market reforms led to a decline in sales.

In 2016, I founded Quadnotion, specializing in custom WordPress development. My work earned me two Honorable Mentions from AWWWARDS. Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic forced me to close Quadnotion in 2021. I then joined Webandcrafts as a WordPress Team Lead. The team grew from 12 members to 23 within two years under my leadership.
