Amauri (@amauric) – WordPress user profile

Bio

I’m Amauri Champeaux, an independent developer based in Béziers, France, and the creator of tarteaucitron.io and WPMobile.App.

With tarteaucitron.js, I develop and maintain an open-source JavaScript cookie consent manager that helps website owners implement GDPR / RGPD consent controls. The tarteaucitron.io Pro service adds automatic detection of supported services, online configuration and consent statistics.

With WPMobile.App, I help WordPress website owners turn their sites into Android and iOS mobile apps, with their own branding, push notifications and a lifetime license.

I develop and maintain both products and provide support directly to their users. My work focuses on consent management, WordPress integrations and making technical tools easier to use.

I also offer consulting and custom development for web and WordPress projects.

WordPress Origin Story

WordPress was the natural choice when I started building my first websites. As I used it more, I grew to appreciate the community and the plugin system: being able to extend a website, solve a specific problem and share that solution with others.

That gradually led me from building websites to developing and maintaining my own plugins, including tarteaucitron.io and WPMobile.App. What I still enjoy today is that direct connection with users: hearing what they need, helping them and improving the tools based on their feedback.
