    I’m Ahmed Khan, a senior WordPress, WooCommerce, and App Developer with over 8 years of hands-on experience building high-performance, custom digital solutions for businesses worldwide.

    From advanced plugin development and custom theme design to API integrations and performance optimization, I specialize in creating solutions that are scalable, secure, and tailored to your business needs. My work has powered e-commerce stores, booking systems, product customizers, and automation tools for clients in industries ranging from retail and logistics to finance and hospitality.

    WordPress Origin Story

    I started my development journey experimenting with HTML and PHP in my early days, building small personal projects and tweaking existing sites just for fun.

    One day, while helping a friend set up a simple blog, I discovered WordPress, and I was instantly hooked. The idea that you could spin up a website so quickly, then extend it with themes, plugins, and custom code, felt like unlocking superpowers.

    What started as small tweaks soon grew into full-blown custom solutions, from WooCommerce stores with advanced product configurators to API integrations and automation tools. Over time, WordPress became not just a tool I used, but a platform I mastered and built my career around.

    Today, I’ve worked on hundreds of projects worldwide, creating everything from custom plugins to enterprise-level e-commerce platforms, all while contributing to the broader WordPress community through code, support, and open-source tools.

    As demand for my work grew, I realized one developer could only stretch so far, so I founded Mellocity to bring that same craftsmanship to more businesses. Mellocity is a dedicated WordPress development agency built around flexibility, offering services on a task-based, hourly, or complete project basis depending on what each client actually needs. It’s the studio I always wished existed back when I was starting out: clear communication, honest pricing, and clean, maintainable code, without the rigid contracts that make it so frustrating to get good WordPress work done.
