    Bio

Hi, I’m Abhijit Shilawat, a passionate WordPress developer with over 8 years of hands-on experience building custom plugins, themes, and high-performance websites for businesses of all sizes.

    I specialize in:
🧩 Custom plugin and theme development
    💼 WooCommerce customization & integrations
🔌 API integrations (AdobeSign, DocuSign, Protecht, Xero, etc.)
⚙️ Performance optimization and security hardening
📱 Figma to WordPress conversion (pixel-perfect and responsive)

I’ve worked across multiple industries, including eCommerce, education, health, and media, delivering clean, scalable, and maintainable WordPress solutions. Whether it’s developing a multisite sync plugin, a custom checkout flow, or optimizing site load, I bring technical depth and business understanding to every project.

I enjoy contributing to the WordPress ecosystem, following best practices, and collaborating with teams and clients globally.

Let’s build something awesome with WordPress! 🚀

    Interests

    WordPress Origin Story

I started my journey with WordPress in September 2016 as a trainee at Brainstorm Force, where I got hands-on experience building with themes and plugins. That introduction sparked a passion for open-source development and problem-solving that’s only grown stronger over time.

Since then, I’ve spent over 8 years working with WordPress, helping small and mid-sized companies scale their online presence through custom development, performance tuning, and WooCommerce solutions. From crafting custom plugins to optimizing high-traffic eCommerce stores, WordPress has remained the core of my career, and I still love building with it every day.
