WordPress Origin Story

I built the back-end database for colleague who great at making pretty websites, but hated the backend support work for large amounts of data – when she asked me to collaborate on project, and asked me to write content, she installed WordPress on the site to give me a blogging/info repository space – – when that project ended, I was ecstatic to find I, too, could ramp up websites, using WordPress – and I never looked back… For one who loves the efficiency of databases, what they can mean for man hours invested vs. quallity/quantity of information for those who visit a site…well….I’m a WP fan – and maybe, someday, I’ll have time to start learning to develop code, too – for now? I depend on the stars here to help me with solutions that save both me and those I serve, time and $ in maintaining their website content – 🙂
