    WordPress Origin Story

    I’ve used WordPress since 2010, but didn’t get involved with the project until 2014. I was at my local community’s watch party for WordCamp San Francisco 2014 when there was an impromptu fire drill at the event in SF. While we were all waiting for the live stream to continue, I started chatting with the folks who organized the watch party and they mentioned they were looking for people to help organize WordCamp St. Louis 2015. I signed up, and have been organizing community events ever since.
