Bio

Lover of deep-tech and physics.
Coding since the age of 11 after I was lucky enough to receive an Amstrad computer from my Grandfather.
Coding was not only an escape, it was also an obsessions and a place where I could create- the possibilities felt endless.
I stopped coding full-time in 2004 to build my own tech company, and went on to employ around 100 developers. I exited from this company in 2015 after many years of hard work and dedication.

Interests

Physics, Quantum Field Theory, Astro Physics, deep-tech.
SEO, AEO, AI SEO, LLM optimization.

WordPress Origin Story

Started coding back in 1990 with VB and C++, then went on to coding backend web applications in the 90’s using ASP Classic and PHP, and .NET in the early 2000’s.

Back then I had heard of WordPress as a blogging website, I always remember the famous “pivot” when WordPress began offering CMS- I remember thinking “what’s the point in offering a CMS when anyone can code and host a frontend connected to a DB holding some images and text?”- boy was I wrong, considering 40-50% of the web CMS’s are hosted on WordPress! Great move.

WordPress is really a kind of folk law now, solidified now in the World Wide Web history books. Hoping now to have some form of impact at a somewhat later stage.
