WordPress Origin Story

We fell into WordPress plugin development backwards. We were WooCommerce store owners and marketers who got tired of losing sales to stores with bigger budgets and fancier tools. So we started hacking together solutions for our own shops—predictive analytics, conversion boosters, social proof systems. It worked. Sales went up, competitors got confused, and our team got addicted to building. When scrapers and bots started hitting our stores (and everyone else’s), we built protection for that too. Then someone said, “You know other people would pay for this, right?” Light bulb. We started packaging our “secret sauce” into a suite of plugins to share with the WordPress community. Now we get to solve problems for thousands of stores, not just our own. Honestly? Best career pivot ever.
