Bio

I have been building ecommerce stores since 1999. I’ve used hosted solutions, osCommerce, Zen-Cart, and now WordPress with WooCommerce.

I am a family man. I spend lots of time working from home alongside my wife and kids, who are partners in my businesses.

Interests

I’m a family guy with a wife and 8 kids. We live in the country on a small farm. I write about software, technology, sports, music, and other topics.

WordPress Origin Story

I started using WordPress in the early 2000s because of its content publishing capabilities, which none of the ecommerce platforms have lacked.

Even recently I switched from BigCommerce to WordPress with WooCommerce because of how poor BigCommerce’s publishing tools are and how naturally integrated WordPress’ content publishing is with the WooCommerce store.
