WordPress Origin Story

At first I was using Blogger because it was completely free and simple. Also, it has high security and offer unlimited visitors with no extra costs.

A friend then impressed me his site that was using WordPress, had login feature which I was looking for. He also recommended me to switch to WordPress because of its user-friendly interface and has many plugins to extend the site’s functionalities, mostly for free.
At first I hesitated because I viewed some previews and felt it was very complicated. I also heard some negative rumours against WordPress like it has large vulnerable security bugs.

Nevertheless, I still decided to switch to WordPress since it really has many more functions than Blogger. (i.e. the users feature)
Initially, it was not easy. I was even convinced that WordPress was sucks but after continuing using it, I got used to it and started loving it.

From that day onwards, WordPress will be my first thought when I think of creating a website or recommending my friend a good CMS.
